DEC is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization and our mission is to support intellectually disabled individuals in realizing their full potential through personalized training, tailored therapies and other programs and services that promote independence, choice and community integration. DEC serves over 400 individuals throughout Montgomery County, PA while providing a dignified and positive environment for all individuals to encourage value, hope and responsibility.
DEC is the largest provider of vocational and rehabilitation services for intellectually disabled individuals in our County. The clients served by DEC are adults, but many of these adults cannot live independently or would have a very difficult time doing so. DEC works to address the unique needs of these adults by providing the best facilities, programs and staff available to serve its clients.
